I am thrilled to be partnering for yet another year with the guys from Nice Wines. Certified Sommeliers, Wine Educators and Le Cordon Bleu trained Chefs Ryan Levy and Ian Eastveld are the “foodie superduo” behind The Nice Winery. Their chef-driven wines have been featured in Wine Enthusiast, won 94 point ratings and gold medals, and are featured on top wine lists.
This year they are generously offering eight wines to benefit my breast cancer foundation.
The sixth vintage of this award-winning wine! Our 2012 vintage of Nice Malbec Reserve is a full bodied, fruit-forward expression of the Malbec grape. Rich cherry and plum flavors dominate while fig and cocoa persist on the palate. One sip will leave you wanting more!
The Stags Leap appellation of the Napa Valley is famous for producing some of the world's best Cabernet Sauvignon. This hand-crafted wine, fashioned from 100% Stags Leap District premier quality grapes, is the creation of Chef and Certified Sommeliers Ryan Levy & Ian Eastveld with the artisanal talents of acclaimed Winemaker Steve Reynolds. This Cabernet exemplifies the highest caliber of Napa wines. It is aged in new French Oak for 24 months, and then bottle aged for an additional 36 months prior to release.
Limited Production. Limited Quantities / $110.00 per bottle
This is a gorgeous burgundy color, and has intoxicating aromas of black cherries and blackberries that softly opens up to hints of baking spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. The wine is rich in texture with perfectly balanced acidity and firm, bold tannins. Once it hits your palate it expresses floods of Bing cherry, plum, black currant and savory spices. The wine finishes elegantly with lingering flavors of cherry and cocoa powder.
Sophisticated and refined, with just the right amount of playfulness. .
$48.00 per bottle / $576 per case
